30 foot PALMER JOHNSON CRUISING / RACING SLOOP PJ 30

A racing boat converted to a very comfortable world cruiser, including solid mahogany detailing. It was originally designed by Sparkman & Stephens, a fiberglass hull poured by Sagitta Boats, Denmark. Subsequently commissioned by Palmer Johnson in USA; #1 of only 5 boats manufactured in this racing class. The boat sailed in international competition. 
This Palmer Johnson yacht was conceived as a total half ton racer, with no concessions made to the boat’s future use as a world cruiser. Professionally re-painted in Imron, sleeps 5, includes 12 sails, Aries self-steering system, Volvo Penta MD 6A 12v two cylinder marine diesel engine, 12v electrical system, RDF, aluminum spars, Dorado vents, Danforth anchor, chain and rode, 25 gallon fuel storage, sail stowage forward, private toilet, main salon has settee berths port and starboard w/ stowage both behind and under, ss sink, propane stove w/oven, ice box, manual bilge pump, swimming ladder, dock-lines, fenders with boards, closed cell cockpit cushions, man overboard pole, life jackets.
